Dr. Dan Peretz has over 35 years of experience in the development of major defense systems in Israel. He holds many national and international awards, among them the David Israel International Award for Excellence in Missile Development, the highest Israeli defense award.
Dr. Peretz is a graduate of the Technion - Israel Institute Of Technology, and received his DSc. in 1971 from Washington University in St. Louis, USA.
He worked at the Technion for 5 years, then moved to RAFAEL - Israel Armament Development Authority. Dr. Peretz worked at RAFAEL for 15 years in the development of warheads, armor for combat vehicles, and as director of the armor anti-armor center in RAFAEL.
After RAFAEL, he moved to IAI - Israel Aircraft Industries where he served in a variety of positions, the last as director for the development of the Arrow Weapon System. Dr. Peretz also worked as special assistant for Research and Development to the Director General of the Israel Ministry of Defense.
At present, he is Corporate Vice-President for R&D and Business Development at IMI - Israel Military Industries.
