CAPT (ret. Navy) Dr. Guy Aviram was born in Israel in 1964.
He started his military service in 1986 in the Israeli Navy after graduating Electrical and Computer Engineering studies at Ben Gurion University in Beer Sheva, Israel.
In his last job before retirement from the military service in 2011, he served as the Head of the Technical Division of the Israel Missile Defense Organization (IMDO) in the Defense Directorate of Research and Development (DDR&D) of the Israeli Ministry of Defense (IMOD).
CAPT (ret. Navy) Dr. Aviram has been involved in Missile Defense since 2002 when he joined the Israel Missile Defense Organization (IMDO). He served there as the IMDO attaché in Washington and as the Head of the System Engineering and Integration department.
Prior to that he served in various technical positions within the DDR&D (the UAV program office), and the Israeli Navy (naval radar and weapon systems).
Dr. Guy Aviram received his BSc. MSc. and PhD degrees in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the Ben Gurion University in Beer Sheva, Israel.
Dr. Guy Aviram is the author of various papers, published in the international and local academic community and conference publications.
After retirement Guy joined one of the leading R&D institutes in Israel where he is a member of the management board and the leader of the Institute's main scientific initiative. In addition he worked as a lecturer in the electrical engineering department of Sami Shamun engineering college.
