Uzi Eilam has held a wide array of leadership roles in the Israeli government and Ministry of Defense. As former Director of the Research and Development Department of Israel’s Ministry of Defense (MAFAT), he was responsible for the development of several new, and important, weapons systems. Other key positions he has held are Director General of Israel’s Atomic Energy Commission and Director General of the Ministry of Defense Mission to Europe. Uzi Eilam is currently a senior researcher at the INSS – Institute for National Security Studies at Tel Aviv University. |
