Brigadier General (res.) Ilan Bitton served in the Israeli Air Force as Commander of the Air Defense Forces from 2003-2006. His previous posts were as Patriot and Hawk battalion commander; head of the Israel Air Defense and Artillery (ADA) School; head of the ADA Staff's Doctrine and Training Branch; and Regiment Commander of Air Defense Forces in Israel's North and Center regions. Currently he is General Manager of MBT Technologies Division, Systems Missile and Space Group of Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI). A graduate of the Israel National Defense College, Brigadier General (res.) Ilan Bitton holds a Bsc. in Space and Aeronautical Engineering from the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology, an MBA from Tel Aviv University's Recanati Business School, and a Master's degree in Political Science from Haifa University. He completed all his degrees and diplomas with honors.
